Living Your Perfect Life is Easier Than You Think If You Realize You Are Perfectly Human

Do you have a perfect life? Are you as successful, rich, happy, relaxed as you want to be? Maybe you feel there is a lot of room for improvement in your life, but you know other people who really do seem to have a perfect life. You might know a person who seems to have everything going his or her way and who never seems to struggle while you plod along doing the best you can, but always needing and wanting more.
You are not alone. Most people feel that life is a struggle and there is always room for improvement. Almost all of us know someone who seems to have a better life as well. Feeling the way you do and perceiving your life the way you do is part of the human condition and very natural. That restless yearning has been good for the human race because the attitude that life could be better has spurred on each individual and each generation to achieve more and to continue to try to improve life. It's how we got here.
But just exactly where is "here?"
Wherever you are in your life, no matter what is going on in your life or how you feel, I can assure you, it is perfect and you are exactly where you should be and your life is perfect. You may not feel that way, but don't forget, it is perfectly human and natural to feel that way. That restless, unfinished, unsatisfied condition is the human condition and is why we have grown in all ways, including spiritually.
If you don't believe that life is perfect, look around you at the world and even the universe. So many things work well together and have a purpose as part of a plan that enables giant stars and planets to hurl through space at incredible speed without colliding.
On our own planet there is a delicate balance between eco systems and living organisms on a planet that regulates its own temperature and environment so that many organisms can survive and multiply, working in concert. Humans look at forest fires as destructive, but they are a natural part of the cycle of a forest and eco system and help to control undergrowth as well as providing nutrients that the forest needs to continue to exist.
Rivers overflow their banks every so many years and we look at the destruction and havoc without also realizing they are depositing rich soil and nutrients that makes the most fertile land in the world that will be used by the human race to grow magnificent crops. Those crops feed the ever increasing population of the world who once again settle along the banks of the river. It is like a tide that ebbs and flows over years instead of hours. Bees pollinate the crops and live off the honey made from nectar that humans also use as a food source.
There is perfection in destruction and death and there is perfection in each life. Whoever you are and whatever your life experience may have been up until this moment, it was perfect because it gave you the experiences you needed to become the person you were meant to be. You are a perfect human being. It is perfectly human to care, try, want, question, laugh, cry, and to yearn for more.
What is more, none of us lives alone or in a vacuum. Your experiences and life have touched other lives and theirs have also touched and influenced yours. While some of those experiences were painful to you or the other people, they were also perfect. Perfect because they made you feel and experience what you needed to become who and what you are now. There is perfection in all feelings and even death and letting go, though we as human beings may feel pain and sorrow even though the experience we are having is perfect. It is hard to grasp and hard to live with and people who had a great understanding of life and its perfection beyond the understanding that most people have, still felt pain.
This tells us that it is alright to feel pain and sorrow, but also that as you do you are having a perfectly human experience. Our idea of perfection may need an adjustment. There is perfect, an ideal that is never achieved in the world by any species, organism, system, and then there is perfectly human. Perfectly human means being what a human is meant to be and having the feelings and experiences a human is meant to have. But what experiences and feelings is a human meant to have? Each human is unique and therefore the experiences of each human are unique.
No one else could be you or have your experiences or bring what you have brought into this world. Your unique contribution to the world has made the world complete and perfect and without you, no matter how insignificant you may feel, the world would not be the same. The same is true of every person who ever entered or left your life. They were unique and perfect, even though they may have caused you joy or sorrow, or perhaps both. Like you, they entered at the perfect time and left at the perfect time in order to have the perfect experience and to afford you the perfect experience.
I am not suggesting that knowing life is perfect and that your life is perfect will instantly make you happy and allow you to be happy for your entire life, because it won't. You will continue to be human and have good days and bad days, happy times and sad times. I am only suggesting that you begin to take a new look at life and begin to see its perfection as you are given each new experience and meet new people and face new situations. You were not meant to be perfect, just perfectly human and so far you have been doing that very well. A salty tear can be just as perfect as a warm and glowing smile and each one has its own time and place. Relax, be happy, enjoy life with all its ups and downs and see the perfection all around you. I think you are perfect just as you are.
